According to multiple sources close to BLIX.GG, Evil Geniuses are set to add up-and-coming North American prodigy Demon1 to their 10-man roster for VCT 2023. Evil Geniuses were one of the 30 teams who were invited by Riot Games to join the partnership program and are set to make their debut in the upcoming LOCK//IN Tournament in São Paulo mid February.
Evil Geniuses is a well-known and respected esports organization with a long history of success in a variety of games. Founded in 1999, the organization has seen success in a number of different titles over the years, including CS:GO, Dota 2, and League of Legends.
In recent years, Evil Geniuses has also made a strong push into the world of VALORANT esports. VALORANT is a first-person shooter game developed by Riot Games, and has quickly gained a large and dedicated competitive scene. Evil Geniuses entered the VALORANT scene in 2021, while their entrance has not been the most successful, Evil Geniuses still strived onwards. Their first roster consisted of a co-ed roster where unfortunately they did find a lot of success with, during 2022 they qualified for the Challengers League where they saw decent success during the latter half of the 2022 North American Challengers season.
