Arena Breakout Controller Support on Mobile

Arena Breakout developers announced long ago that they would be working on controller support for the game. Since Arena Breakout was designed and optimized for touch controls, players using a controller will not receive any noticeable benefits. – assured Yiming Sun, the game’s lead producer. Currently, controllers for mobile devices are supported in the game, but they still need to be fully implemented.

Controller support in Arena Breakout was already available after the global beta was released in early 2023. However, players continue to complain that controller compatibility needs improvement and that only a few bindings are available.

However, some Reddit enthusiasts have customized the controllers to the highest possible standard and shared their techniques with the rest of us.

Arena Breakout Controller Support on PC

As for PC, Arena Breakout: Infinite doesn’t have controller support, but you can also use a controller to play the game. You will run into the same problem. Since input still needs to be supported, you will find that buttons will not be assigned correctly.

But even here, some enthusiasts are willing to bypass the system. To play the controller via PC, you can plug it into the PC as usual, and then you’ll need to use a re-assignment app like reWASD to ensure there are no missing buttons and that the configuration is intuitive.

A player who used the controller for Arena Breakout: Infinite kindly shared their configuration for the game on the Steam discussion page. Their configuration mimics a typical FPS game that supports the controller.

Some settings in the game need to be changed for this to work seamlessly, such as Check Mag being changed to 0, so keep that in mind when trying to use the controller for Arena Breakout: Infinite.
