Team SMG has parted ways with Dota 2 veteran Daryl "iceiceice" Koh.

The 32-year-old Singaporean player had long said he wants to retire. Earlier in September, he said he would take a break from his competitive career, but didn’t say how long.

Even before that, he used to complain that he had lost motivation to compete on the professional stage. He doesn't want to play Dota, but he "has to".

iceiceice played DotA from 2005-2009 and played Dota 2 since 2011.

During his sports career, he played with eminent teams such as Team Secret, Evil Geniuses, Fnatic and many others.

Team SMG is now:

  • Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng
  • Kam "Moon" Boon Seng
  • Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan
  • Wilson "poloson" Koh
