Liverpool F.C. Portuguese player esports organization Diogo Jota Esports and Galaxy Racer celebrated a partnership yesterday. Together, both organizations are merging to form Luna Galaxy.
Diogo Jota Esports only had a presence in FIFA with a Portuguese trio. Daniel ‘DFernandes’ Fernades played in the World Cup last week, while João ‘jagonsogv’ Vasconcelos was called to the Portuguese team to play in the Nations Cup.
On the other hand, Galaxy Racer has a European Rocket League roster, and as Luna Galaxy, the organization announced the D1 Hustlers Dota 2 roster.
In an interview with RTP Arena, Diogo Jota affirmed the focus is to expand the organization internationally and be a reference in the world, competing in the most prestigious tournaments in the titles that Luna Galaxy has teams. The Footballer admitted the possibility to expand the presence of Luna Galaxy in the future in other titles besides FIFA, Rocket League and Dota 2.
