The player is close to reaching an agreement with Ibai Llanos’ organization.
The former Head Coach of Case esports has agreed with Koi to be the assistant coach of VCT.
Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko would be the last player to complete KOI’s roster for Valorant VCT. The organization released the former Guild player after they confirmed that they would not enter the EMEA franchises.
The Koi roster would consist of Jose Luis “koldamenta” Aranguren, Patryk “starxo” Kopczynski, former M3C player Bogdan “Sheydos” Naumov, Berkant “Wolfen” Joshkun, and Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko.
Also joining the technical staff is Alex “goked” Kie, former Case esports coach, as an assistant coach. The Spaniard will support André “BARBARR” Möller, who will fulfill the role of Head Coach.
Koi will compete in Valorant’s top EMEA competition along with Rogue; days ago, Ibai Llanos confirmed the merger with the U.S. organization, as we said at the time. Koi will participate in Valorant, LoL, Rocket League, Fifa, Rainbow Six, and Call of Duty with the Rogue organization. However, they will keep the name and branding of Koi in all the titles and events they compete in.
Koi competed in Valorant in 2022 in the VRL Spain, losing in the semifinals in the first split and fighting for relegation in the summer split. However, since the incorporation of Magnum to the purple team, the team has performed much better.
