With their trophy case stacked with first-place finishes from tournaments in the Latin America region, KRÃ Fem lost a rough series against Cloud 9 White in the quarter-finals of the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2022.
After the series, we spoke with KRÃ Femâs in-game leader Consuelo âConsuâ Rivas about what went wrong for them in the series, how it feels to be in Berlin for this monumental tournament, and her message for KRÃ fans watching.
Aykut Sapaz, BLIX.GG: Hello and welcome Consu. You guys just came out of a tough loss. What are your comments on the match?
KRÃ Consu: I think there were a lot of mistakes in our communication. We didnât feel our best and we couldnât fix anything.
BLIX.GG: What went wrong to cause those issues in your opinion? Was it something with the game plan or did they catch you off guard?
KRÃ Consu: We were not surprised, it was a matter of communication maybe. I donât know exactly what it is, it is a matter of multiple things together.
BLIX.GG: Understandable, it happens with such a big event and playing the first match. I want to ask about the picks that you guys had today. Is there anything interesting that you were planning [for your opponents] to bring to this tournament, agent-wise?
KRÃ Consu: The truth is we are prepared for any map and any pick that the enemy team brings, so there is nothing else.
BLIX.GG: How does it feel to play on the stage in Berlin at the World Championship?
KRÃ Consu: It feels incredible. Itâs an experience that [incomprehensible]. It feels amazing.
BLIX.GG: Very glad to hear that. Lastly, is there anything you want to say to KRÃ fans out there?
KRÃ Consu: To not be disappointed and to continue supporting because the team is gonna keep fighting.
