According to sources close to BLIX.GG, Antero “Papiteero” Baldaia has reached a verbal agreement with UCAM Tokiers. UCAM will make a series of changes in the team to improve the result of the last split.
Papiteero is a Portuguese player who won in 2021 the Summer LPLOL. The times he has qualified for the EU masters the toplaner failed to qualify despite quite decent performances. This last split Papiteero played in Ultraliga, finishing 4th in the regular split and qualifying for play offs.
On the other hand, UCAM would be shuffling a number of changes in the roster, it is currently official that Kadir will not continue with Ucam. So at least we expect a change in the Support. UCAM was ninth in the last Supeliga split, with a record of 5 wins and 13 losses.
At the end of the split, UCAM had a meeting with the 5 players, who were told that they were not out of the team but that they would have to earn their place in the tryouts, where more than 6 players have been tested in different positions.
In the tryouts for the top lane were Doxy and Papiteero, but finally the Portuguese top laner had a better performance with the university team.
