As expected, Riot Games decided to reveal the newest League of Legends cinematic that focuses on Season 3. “Beginning of the End | Trials of Twilight ” is a video that shows the end of the current storyline and focuses on Xin Zhao’s journey. He appeared in Ionia in the last season’s video.
League of Legends Season 3 Cinematic & Final Season
If you pay close attention to the LoL Season 3 cinematic, you will see that Xin Zhao’s path collided with Atakhan. The cinematic became available following Riot’s collaboration with Fortiche, an animated studio located in France. Some of you may have heard this name before because the company was involved in a series, including Arcane. The studio is also behind other iconic League of Legends music videos, including Warriors from Imagine Dragons.
In addition to the cinematic, Riot Games also revealed that Season 3 will be the last one for 2025. From what we’ve seen, there will be different events related to the season’s rollout, and unlike before, they won’t be just in-game. Riot will host different real-life events in places such as South Korea. Sadly, we do not have that much information yet, so we will need to wait a bit.
The New Season
We will have to wait a bit until Season 3 rolls out and it’s safe to say that fans will focus more on Worlds than anything else. Regions like the LCK and LPL will do everything possible to win, but we will have to wait and see if they will have the power to do that.
It’s also worth noting that League of Legends and Riot won a lot of the Esports Awards 2025 just a few days ago. This proves that the game and its developers are doing a pretty good job.
