According to sources with knowledge of the negotiations, BLIX understands that KOI's current Strategic Coach, Alex "goked" Kie, has reached a verbal agreement to join Leviatán as their head coach next season. The move, should it result in a contract, would see the 31-year-old Spaniard leave the EMEA region for VCT Americas where he would be coaching a Latin American squad.

Sources say that KOI and Leviatán have already reached an agreement for goked's departure from his current organization. goked's addition to Leviatán would see him replace Rodrigo "Onur" Dalmagro, whom Leviatán parted ways with on August 2nd.

goked was the coach of Spanish organization Case Esports from mid-2021 to late 2022 before joining KOI at the tail end of the year. goken's role on Leviatán would be his highest profile to date, taking the helm of a squad in one of the most competitive regions in the Valorant Champions Tour.

goked is not expected to be the only change to Leviatán's lineup as we previously reported that the Argentine organization also reached an agreement with former LOUD player Erick "aspas" Santos. Leviatán finished VCT 2023: Americas League in fifth place, so these moves are seen as part of a plan to straighten the squad for the 2024 season.
