Another esport organization has decided to leave the Valorant scene.
All five of NYXL’s players have announced that the club is disbanding the Valorant team (NYFU project).
Two of them, Diondre “YaBoiDre” Bond and Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski have claimed that the reason for disbanding is the recent franchising decisions made by Riot Games.
The new circuit makes it more difficult for teams to qualify for international and regional leagues.
According to earlier reports by BLIX.GG, Akrew, another North American esport organization, has left the Valorant scene too.
NYFU lineup was:
- Chad “Oderus” Miller (captain)
- Diondre “YaBoiDre” Bond
- Jason “neptune” Tran
- Jason “JSUNG” Sung
- Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski
