According to sources close to the situation, Fnatic is interested in a spot in the European League. Nowadays and since the presence in the title, the British organization has been betting on the APAC Region with the Japanese-based roster actually.
Both Russian organizations have an interest to sell the spot, Virtus.pro competing as Outsiders and Team Empire as PWNZ, sources told BLIX.GG. A French organization have the same interest as Fnatic, BLIX.GG has learned. It is still unclear whether these moves will happen soon or in 2023 and whether the idea will be put into practice. Team Empire is not expected to stay in the competitive scene.
Recently, Fnatic farewelled Masashi ‘Siru’ Miyamoto, Naoki ‘Yura’ Takamoto and Hikaru ‘Li9ht’ Osawa, reducing the active roster to three players.
