After a historic run at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, Geekay will take on next year’s Six Invitational in São Paulo, Brazil, with a new-look team. A stand-in for the team at the Major, Jake “Leadr” Fortunato, did not sign a permanent contract with the team and now has a new team.
The organization signed Luke “Tyrant” Casey. The 23-year-old British player was with MNM Gaming, an organization that saw its R6 squad leave following debt complaints. Tyrant will be with Geekay until the Six Invitational, the organization confirmed to BLIX.
The rumor was reported by Brandon “Okidokie98” de Baat duue to the player’s registration in tournaments with Geekay.
