What are Elite Skins?
Elite skins are the most unique skins in Rainbow Six Siege. They were first introduced with the release of Operation Red Raven in November 2016.
The biggest problem with the elite skins was the inability to combine them with other in-game skins. This is no longer the case. Now, with the introduction of High Calibre, you can combine them.

How To Get Elite Skin in R6
So, a player can buy a weapon skin for real money. Or they are spending money the same, not for a separate skin but a whole set. Players can also purchase a Battle Pass inexpensively and then, when pumping it, receive skins. Of course, trying the method first is better, but the skins cost much less!
To unlock an Elite Set, follow the steps below:
- Click on Operators.
- Select Attackers or Defenders.
- Select an Operator from the list.
- Click on Appearance.
- If it is an operator with an elite set, you will easily find it at the bottom of the page.
Can Elite skins Be Purchased With Renown?
The quick answer is no.
You can only buy Elite skins using R6 Credits. The regular price for an Elite Skin is 1800 R6 Credits. However, certain skins have been discounted. Now is the best time to buy an elite skin!
Battle Pass
Now, about the R6 Battle Pass. Operatives need to pump it with the help of experience points, but those are purchased for real money. To do so, click the battle pass button and choose the premium option. Choose what is needed and buy. The main thing is that it should be a Battle Pass with sets of skins. It is more expensive than usual, but our goal is just skins!
Alpha Packages
Finally, let’s discuss Alpha Packages. Considering the game’s years, Alpha Packages is an innovation.
These packs have weapon skins, but they drop randomly. Most likely to get standard skins, less – uncommon, even less – to get rare, epic, or even legendary. The copy is compensated by tokens – the more irregular the copy, the more tokens.
The player can also get an Alpha Package by winning a match: the winner plays a kind of roulette. If her bar stops at the white arrow, there will be an alpha pack, but its chance counter will also decrease. If not, there will be no packet, but the counter will be higher.
Operatives can buy these packs in the in-game store for five thousand tokens each.
