According to sources with knowledge of the negotiations, BLIX understands that Evan “Yoggah” Nelson is set to join M80 on loan from Oxygen Esports until the conclusion of the Six Invitational 2024 in late February. The addition of Yoggah to M80’s comes after the American organization benched Leonardo “Kyno” Figueiredo on November 21 following the team’s disappointing 15th-16th place finish at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta 2023.
Yoggah is a familiar face in the M80 “camp” as he played from M80 for three months at the start of the year, including at the 2023 Six Invitational. During the current season, Yoggah was with Oxygen, a team that failed to qualify to any international events and is likely to change its squad heading into 2024.
M80 is set to compete in SI 2024 with:
