According to sources familiar with the situation, Team Liquid is preparing changes in the Siege active roster. w7m’s star, Gabriel ‘Volpz‘ Fernandes is set to join the team following a huge progress between both organizations in the last few days.
Team Liquid’s player since September 2021, Gabriel ‘AsK‘ Santos would be benched if Volpz joins the team. The team is still in the process to find stability after adding Lorenzo ‘Lagonis‘ Volpi before Stage 3. Since then, Liquid achieved a second place in the Six Jönköping Major and winning the Brasileirão Finals over w7m.
In the Six Invitational, André ‘nesk‘ Oliveira and his teammates were eliminated by Team BDS in the first round of the lower bracket. Volpz is one of the surprises of the last season alongside his team w7m, reaching a SI final, losing to G2.
Approached by BLIX.GG, Team Liquid said: “Team Liquid does not comment on negotiations. Any signing will be announced on our official channels’, while w7m still didn’t respond to our approach.
