The IGL had offers from many other teams, some of the teams outside the EMEA region. Finally Rhyme has reached an agreement to sign with Giants.
Emir “rhyme” Muminovic has reportedly reached an agreement to compete with Giants in VCT 2023. The player received great interest from many organizations, some of them from the APAC region. Finally the IGL decided to reach an agreement with Giants, sources told BLIX.GG on Saturday.
As we reported earlier, Giants had secured the signing of Cloud (NAVI’s player) and the renewal of Fitinho, and were close to securing two other additions, but for the moment the deal has not been completed.
In VALORANT, Giants achieved big results in 2021, winning Spanish LVP Rising Series twice and participating in VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers, where they managed to get a pretty impressive second place in VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 2, as well as 5th-6th place in VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs. In 2022, they achieved decent results in VRL Spain, reaching Semifinals in both Stages.
Giants have been also actively looking for a coach after the expected departure of Head Coach Oliwer “LATEKS” Fahlander to NAVI, as reported by BLIX.GG yesterday.
