According to sources close to BLIX, it is understand that Enes "RieNs" Ecirli has reached an agreement to join Team Heretics for the 2024 VCT season. It is understood that the 18-year-old Turkish player has been practicing with Team Heretics, however the details of his contract were only finalized recently as RieNs received interest from multiple VCT teams.
RieNs' competitive history has seen him primarily in the French and Turkish scenes with the likes of S2G Esports, HEET and Surreal Esports. Most recently RieNs and S2G finished VALORANT Challengers 2023 Turkey: Birlik Split 2 in second place, finishing just behind Digital Athletics.
With the addition of RieNs, Team Heretics are close to having their full roster set for next year. BLIX previously reported Heretics are also set to pick up Mert "Wo0t" Alkan, however he will be ineligible to compete until he turns 18 years old on March 16. This would leave the team without their fifth until after the Madrid Masters, necessitating the team finding a sixth player for the interim.
