Valve, Dota 2 creator and publisher, has permanently banned 10 pro players for account sharing.
A significant number of those who fell under the ban were associated with the Russian team Luna Gaming.
Vladislav “Imba4” Khoroltsev (aka Chambl), Sergey “[T]SA” Timchenko, and Kirill “deihra” Kharitonov are currently playing for Luna Gaming.
Kamil “Koma`” Biktimirov from Vitus.pro and ex-HYDRA player Viktor “SuperNova” Galichkin have been playing for Luna this year.
Bauyrzhan “Lilskrip” Bisembaev from Thiuth Gaming was Luna’s coach.
Valve also banned Yaroslav “Limitless” Parshin (ex-Alliance, HellRaisers, and B8), Aslan “Paradise” Vadilov (felt), Emil’ “Keintseru” Daminov (S9), and Danil “illusion” Grzhevka (Ancient Tribe).
Following Valve, PGL also banned these ten for life.
Vitus pro has already reacted to the message about Koma`s ban.
“We are aware of the news related to the ban of our Dota 2 player by Valve. We are looking into what happened and will immediately share information with you as soon as it becomes available,” the organization noted on Telegram.
