    Valve Released Another VRS Invite System Update

    Valve has launched the March update for the VRS, which will serve as the foundation for inviting several major tournaments.

    BLAST Rivals, PGL Astana, CCT Global Finals, and MESA Nomadic Masters are all set to use this update to determine their invitations, and various teams have had their opportunities for earning invites positively or negatively affected by this update.

    Liquid dropped five positions worldwide compared to the important February update during a sluggish beginning to the season, while Astralis made their way into the top 10 following their performance at PGL Cluj-Napoca, creating a lead above paiN, who is now in 11th place.

    The BLUEJAYS likely emerged as the major winners in this update, soaring into the global top 30 and the regional top eight with their LAN victory at Fragadelphia Block.

    • Four positions from Global VRS.
    • A single wildcard invitation for North America, Europe, South America, and Asia each.

    PGL Astana, May 10 – May 18

    • 12 positions available through Global VRS
    • One qualifier will be selected from North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.

    CCT Global Finals, April 24 – April 27

    • Six positions for Europe by VRS
    • One position for NA by VRS
    • One position for SA by VRS

    MESA Nomadic Masters, April 30 – May 4

    • Two positions for Europe by VRS
    • Two positions for Asia by VRS
    • Two spots from the European qualifier
    • One spot from the Asian qualifier
    • One spot from MESA League Season 4

    It’s important to mention that PGL Astana concludes a day prior to the start of IEM Dallas, which means teams participating in IEM Dallas will probably turn down invites for PGL Astana.
