Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a multiplayer tactical first-person shooter released in 2012 and developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. Players divide into two teams (Terrorist/Counter-Terrorists) and compete against each other in objective-based game modes. The most popular mode is Bomb Planting, where CTs defend one of their bomb sites from Terrorists. CS:GO has nine official game modes: Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, Arms Race, Demolition, Wingman, Flying Scoutsman, Retakes, and Danger Zone. In Competitive Mode, players play a 5v5 match for 30 rounds or until one team has a winning record of 16 rounds per match.
