This rare attachment, while of great benefit to DMRs, is of questionable use on the bolt-action rifles, given that the time between shots is sufficient enough for the shooter to readjust aim, but since there are no negative effects there is no net loss to attaching one while looking for other attachments.

It also has an unmentioned effect of a slight reduction in weapon deviation. The suppressor increases the length of the weapon, meaning that obstacles further away than usual will prevent the player from entering iron sights and can present an issue in confined spaces.
