Qiang’s players have made the decision to part ways after the team’s disappointing performance led to their failure to qualify for the Europe RMRs.
In the Closed Qualifier B, the international team achieved a 1-3 record. They started by securing a victory against Sashi but faced defeats againstSAW, BIG, and Insilio in their subsequent games.
Following the release of the entire lineup and the shutdown of operations by PERA, Ãron ‘Aaron’ Homoki shared a post expressing the significant setback that the team had experienced.
Aaron Statement
The team performed exceptionally well under PERA, nearly securing a spot in the top 30 world rankings. They also participated in prestigious events such as the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Europe RMR B and ESL Pro League Season 19. Although they faced a tough 0-3 defeat in the RMR, they did achieve victories against Ninjas in Pyjamas and managed to take a map off BIG and FlyQuest in Malta.
Despite the disbandment of the team, they have decided to complete the season in the ESL Challenger League. In the opening round of Stage 2’s Low Sweed bracket, Qiang is poised to compete against Rebels.
