Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks has declared himself a restricted free agent for the 2025 VCT season. Following a disappointing season, ardiis and Natus Vincere have mutually agreed to part ways, although he is still under contract with the organization.
This decision came after the team’s disappointing result: they did not make a single international appearance.
Ardiis previously played with many teams, such as Funplaus Pheonix and G2 Esports, and he also got to experience the NA scene with NRG last year.
Ardis tweeted that he can play in both EMEA and China and is hungry for tough challenges.

Hiro and FNATIC Part Ways
FNATIC has officially announced that stand-in Emirhan “hiro” Kat will leave the team after nearly four months of service.
The young player was brought in to replace Leo “Leo” Jannesson, who had to step back temporarily due to various health concerns as the team prepared for Split 2 of the VCT EMEA.
Hiro was brought in during Stage 2 and Champions, contributing as a critical player to FNATIC’s EMEA title campaign and their journey in the Champions tournament. However, despite impressive performances from Hiro at the world championship, FNATIC faced challenges and ultimately finished the competition in the top six.
Now, Fnatic’s future remains to be determined as their duelist player has left the team. With Leo’s uncertain return, Fnatic may face some difficulties at the start of the new season.
