MIBR is currently in the advanced stages of negotiations with Fluxo to secure the acquisition of Lucas ‘Lucaozy’ Neves in preparation for the final stretch of 2024. The report from Dust2.br reveals that although the negotiations are underway, a final decision regarding the player who will be replaced by ‘Lucaozy’ on MIBR is yet to be determined.
The 22-year-old professional shooter’s agreement is said to be coming to an end in December. Discussions are ongoing, providing Fluxo with an opportunityto potentially secure a transfer fee before his contract lapses.
MIBR is currently in the process of attempting to sign ‘Lucaozy’ before their participation in the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR campaign. It’s important to note that teams must complete their roster registration by September 8 but have the flexibility to make additional changes until September 22.
Fluxo fell short of qualifying for the Americas RMR after suffering a surprise defeat to KRÃ in the opening match of the South America closed qualifier. They were further thwarted in their bid for a top-four finish by RED Canids, which has sparked speculation about a potential transfer for Lucaozy to another team.
MIBR has expressed interest in the Brazilian rifler on previous occasions. In May 2023, the organization made a significant $280,000 bid to acquire ‘Lucaozy’ from Fluxo, but the player turned down the offer and opted to stay with his existing team.
During his two years with Fluxo, ‘Lucaozy’has consistently maintained an impressive 1.20 rating. He has undoubtedly been the star player for the team, and there are talks of a potential transfer to MIBR ahead of the RMR event, which could significantly strengthen the team’s firepower.
If it happens, MIBR roster will be as follows:
Raphael ‘exit’ Lacerda
Breno ‘brnz4n’ Poletto
Felipe ‘â insani’ Yuji
Rafael ‘saffeeâ ‘ Costa
André ‘drop’ Abreu
Lucas ‘Lucaozyâ ‘ Neves
