Unfortunately, HEROIC will participate in their second consecutive tournament without their key AWPer, Abdul ‘degster’ Gasanov. This is due to the 23-year-old’s failure to obtain a visa in time.
The organization is still determining how many matches ‘degster’ will miss. They await his visa approval and are prepared to fly him in immediately.
HEROIC Official Statement
IEM Cologne will be the third tournament that ‘degster’ will miss since signing with HEROIC in May. He could not attend IEM Dallas, where Nico ‘nicoodoz’Tamjidi replaced him, and BLAST Premier Groups, where the team used coach Eetu ‘sAw’ Saha.
In Cologne, it has been announced that coach ‘sAw’ will not participate in the upcoming HEROIC matches. The team has decided to field other players, although the substitute’s identity has yet to be revealed. HEROIC’s first match in Cologne is scheduled against MIBR on Wednesday at 12:30 CET. Additionally, 9z and BetBoom are also on their side of the bracket.
