The organizers of the Skyesports Championship 2024 recently revealed that the renowned team AMKAL has eagerly accepted an invitation to participate in the prestigious $300,000 event, which is scheduled to take place in Mumbai, India. The tournament will be held from July 23 to July 27.
The upcoming tournament features a diverse lineup of teams, including AMKAL, The MongolZ, Eternal Fire, and BetBoom. FURIA, 3DMAX, ENCE, and Aurora are also confirmed participants. The team list includes Revenant and the local side, True Rippers.
The Russian team has lost star AWPer Kaisar ‘ICY’ Faiznurov, with rumors connecting him to a move to Cloud9. The organization benched the player to investigate potential unfair behavior but later cut ties with the 19-year-old.
AMKAL has a deadline to find a replacement for ‘ICY’ before the upcoming Indian event. The Skyesports Championship 2024 marks its first appearance after the summer break.
