Partizan transfer lists its CS:GO roster; halts division

Serbian esport organization Partizan Esports, a part of famous sporting club Partizan Belgrade, which includes famous soccer and basketball teams, has decided to temporarily pause activities in the CS:GO scene.

Partizan entered CS:GO in August of last year, as reported by BLIX, with the signing of former C4RZY and FunPlus Phoenix IGL Luka ‘œemi’ Vuković, a well-known name in the Balkan scene. Partizan would eventually go on to feature a mixed Serbian-Bulgarian core, which unfortunately despite the backing of Partizan, failed to make inroads in the European scene. At the time of dissolution, the only trophy Partizan managed to claim was in the first season of the domestic online RES Adriatic League.

Despite the lackluster performance of the division, Partizan insists that this pause does not mean the end for Partizan’™s involvement in CS:GO. However, their current lineup has been transfer listed and is open for offers.

“The decision was not easy, but it was certainly determined by numerous factors that we cannot influence. We are witnessing a very difficult economic situation in the esports world, where a large number of teams have shut down in the last period, and many key investors and sponsors have withdrawn. Certainly, one of the main problems is the fact that this type of sport is still not recognized in our country and region,” noted the Partizan statement.

    Partizan’™s CS:GO squad consisted of:

    • Luka “emi” Vuković
    • Luka “c0llins” Živanović
    • Kalin “KalubeR” Erenditsov
    • Viktor “Duplicate” Mitev
    • Marin “ROGA” Rogić
