Polish Counter-Strike and CS:GO veteran Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas has decided to leave the esports competitive scene.
He announced his decision two days after the liquidation of HONORIS, an esports organization he created together with old Virtus.pro teammate Filip “NEO” Kubski three years ago.
The now 36-year-old TaZ started his esports career in 2001 as a Counter-Strike player and moved to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2012.
The Polish legend played with twenty different teams over the years but the most fruitful for him was his tenure with Virtus.pro from 2014-2018, with which he won several top-tier tournaments including the EMS One Katowice Major in 2014.
Since March 2020, TaZ has been playing in his own CS:GO team, HONORIS. A team which, in his own words, failed to achieve the set goals.
