German streamer ‘ohnePixel’ has revealed plans to support a team in their quest to qualify for the Middle East regional qualifiers for the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
Steering the team as captain will be Volodymyr ‘Woro2k’ Veletniuk, accompanied by his former teammate from Monte, Ali ‘hAdji’ Haïnouss.
In the European lineup, Vladyslav ‘Kvem’ Korol, who has been on IKLA’s bench since February, is joined by Tal ‘meztal’Hahiashvili and Meytar ‘AMSALEM’ Amsalem, completing the final pieces of the roster.
The team will begin their journey to the Major in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024Middle East RMR Open Qualifier on August 21. This event will select seven teams for the closed qualifier, with only one advancing to the Asian RMR.
The team can compete in the MENA region because ‘hAdji’ holds Moroccan-French dual nationality, which allows them to meet the non-European majority requirement.
