HOTU decided to make important changes after failing to live up to the expectations at IEM Rio. The squad announced that it will bench Suleimen “dukefissura” Orazaly. The latter spent around one year with the club, but it seems like it’s time for a change.
Dukefissura is not a Part of HOTU Anymore
HOTU definitely did not live up to the expectations because the team did not achieve its goal. After securing one victory, HOTU exited IEM Rio in the 9th-12th place following losses from Natus Vincere and Aurora. It seems like the people behind the team were not happy at all because they announced that Suleimen “dukefissura” Orazaly will be benched.
According to the team’s announcement on Telegram, “this decision was not easy to make”. HOTU said the team is grateful for the player’s contribution and for everything they have achieved together.
Dukefissura became a part of HOTU last year and has been a part of the team’s most successful period. After joining the squad, HOTU took part in many different top CS2 tournaments. The squad slowly cemented its position as one of the best in its region.
Perhaps the team’s most memorable run alongside dukefissura was the victory at ESL Pro League Season 22. This was a time when HOTU was really strong and managed to defeat a lot of the big names, including the likes of FURIA. During that time, dukefissura established himself as one of the more aggressive players for his team and people loved watching him. Sadly, HOTU fans will have to wave goodbye and wait for his replacement.
Following the roster change, HOTU’s draft looks like this:
- David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan
- Dmtiry “mizu” Kondratev
- Kim “frontales” Argunov
- Altair “kAlash” Askarov
- Rustem “mou” Telepov
