Sashi has just announced that their player Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss is back in the active roster. The team moved the 22-year-old Danish star back in February, but it seems like the team needs him once again.
Zyphon’s Back from the Bench
When Sashi made the decision to bench Zyphon, the team started playing with Emil “Mol011” Sall Wurtz as the latter joined on a trial. Even though the team hoped to achieve good results, the reality was different. The new addition, who came from the academy, failed to adapt and his performance was underwhelming. As a result, Sashi decided it’s better to rely on their trusted player.
Zyphon already played several matches for his team and even helped it in the Tisport Conquest of Prague. He had a key role in the team’s 3-0 result and the fact that it will compete in the LAN Finals in Prague.
To be honest, many people were surprised that the player decided to come back to the team. Most people who are sent to the bench usually change their team to look for new opportunities, but Zyphon decided to stay. It seems like this was the right decision because just two months after he had to take a break, he is back in action.
Let’s not forget that the same situation happened to him in TSM and this was the reason why he moved to Sashi Esports in the first place. After spending around 10 months there, TSM benched him and he decided to try his luck elsewhere.
Following these changes, here is what the roster looks like now:
- Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand
- Casper “Cabbi” Jensen
- Mikkel “MistR” Thomsen
- Lukas “Beccie”Bauder Balcells
- Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss
- Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen (coach)
We at Blix.gg will keep an eye on the team’s future results.
