Match Overview
The first semi-final of BLAST World Final 2024 will be G2 to face off against Vitality. These two teams met each other many times before, and it is interesting to mention that most of the time, these two played a best-of-three series, and it went all three maps. Last time they met at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, G2 won with a 2-1 score. Here at BLAST, Vitality is playing with a stand-in, but will it make a difference? We will have to see.

G2
G2 won the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, and it was a Grand Final against the best team in the world, Natus Vincere, but it wasn’t a problem for G2 as they won with a 3-1 score in a best-of-five series. ‘m0NESY’ seem to be in a great shape but also it’s ‘malbsMd’ their latest addition who is still getting his experience but now he seems as a solid top player who can turn around any game at any time. ‘NiKo’ is also doing great here at BLAST and is in good shape.
Vitality
Having to play with a stand-in ‘JACKZ’ instead of ‘mezii’ didn’t seem to be a problem for Vitality. Even though they lost the opening match against Spirit, where ‘JACKZ’ was looking like he couldn’t find his game, in the next two games they played against Liquid and MOUZ ‘JACKZ’ was there to help his team and he was doing great in both games. ‘ZywOo’ is being a star as he is supposed to be, leading the scoreboards and dominating the game.

Match Prediction
It is hard to predict a winner, even looking at the history of these two teams meeting each other. Both teams have the same experience; the only difference here is that Vitality has a stand-in, but it doesn’t seem a problem for them either. We already mentioned that these two teams played all three maps most of the time, and we will go with that choice here to make it safer and, at the same time, not lose much in the odds we get. We expect this match to have a Total Over 2.5 Maps to be played; in other words, this series will go all three maps.
Can Vitality make it to the Grand Final with a stand-in, or will it be G2 that uses this to its advantage and get one more Grand Final for itself? We will have to see it this Saturday at 09:30 CET!
