Adam “Adam” Maanane has reached a verbal agreement to play in the 2023 season of LEC. The Frenchman will be the Swiss team’s top laner if the deal goes through, sources told BLIX.GG on Tuesday.

Adam, a top laner who ascended to LEC in 2021 as one of the most wanted players, ended up in the team of Fnatic and went to Worlds the same year. Some time later Fnatic and Team BDS reached an agreement for his transfer, and at the end of the spring Split 2022 they decided to put Adam as the top laner of the BDS academy.

Before moving up to LEC, the 20-years-old competed with Karmine Corp since its beginning, when the team was Kameto Corp.
During this period Adam’s team swept the LFL and the EU Masters, coming first in LFL 2021 Spring, winning the LFL 2021 Spring Playoffs and finally winning the EU Masters 2021 Spring title with a 3:1 victory in the final.
BDS academy had an incredible performance in the last split, despite that they could not lift any trophy, as they lost the final of France 1:3 against LDLC and then they were defeated by Team Heretics in the final of the EU Master with a 2:3.
