Astralis has declared the termination of its youth program. The announcement that Astralis is further downsizing its operations after several layoffs follows allegations of a desire to sell the organization and its CS2 division. The already struggling organization faced additional pressure recently when the CS2 team did not qualify for the upcoming BLAST.tv Major in Austin.
Astralis Talent was formed at the beginning of the 2021 season and has been home to players such as Rasmus ‘Zyphon’ Nordfoss, Alexander ‘Altekz’ Givskov, Frederik ‘Fessor’ Sørensen, Patrick ‘Patti’ Larsen, and Alexander ‘br0’ Bro, among others.
Aside from lower-level online competitions, Astralis Talent participated in the local LAN scene in Denmark, and at their peak, they even secured victories in POWER Ligaen Season 23, Gamebox Festival 2022, and NPF Invitational 2022.
