FISSURE has unveiled plans for the upcoming BetBoom Dacha tournament, which will take place in Belgrade and have a prize pool of $500,000. The tournament is currently scheduled to run from August 25 to September 1, although organizers have mentioned that these dates are subject to potential adjustments.
Six teams have already received invitations to the upcoming tournament. MOUZ and Spirit, finalists in the previous iteration, have secured their spots. Additionally, invitations were extended to Virtus.pro, Aurora, BetBoom (the team owned by the tournament’s title sponsor), and FURIA as part of the first wave of invites.
In the upcoming tournament, there are still two spots up for grabs through qualifiers in Europe and South America. Additionally, four more teams will be directly invited to compete, bringing the total number of teams to 12.
The initial group stage of the tournament will comprise double-elimination best-of-three matches arranged in groups. The victorious teams in this stage will receive a prize of $10,000. Following the group stage, there will be a best-of-three double-elimination bracket, leading up to an intense best-of-five grand-final showdown.
Three of the invited teams, Spirit, MOUZ, and Virtus.pro, are proceeding directly to the playoffs. At the same time, one of the unannounced invites will also go to a team entering the competition after the group stage.
