OG has recently made an announcement regarding the addition of Christoffer ‘Chr1zNâ ‘ Storgaard to their roster. This move comes as a replacement for Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ Martynenko, who departed for Cloud9 in July.‘Chr1zN’â joins OG from MOUZ NXT, and his signing fills the vacancy left in the team’s roster.
OG has appointed ‘Chr1zN’ as the in-game leader, after Nils ‘k1toâ ‘ Gruhne took on the roles previously held by ‘HeavyGod’.
‘Chr1zN’ joined MOUZ NXT in September 2022, achieving a 1.05 rating while leading the academy project. He oversaw multiple online event wins, notably in CCT North Europe Series 5, during Jimi ‘Jimpphatâ ‘ Salo’s time with MOUZ NXT.
OG has once again looked to MOUZ NXT for talent. They signed Bram ‘Nexius’ Campana from MOUZ’s academy division late last year after Nemanja ‘nexa’ IsakoviÄ and Dion ‘FASHR’ Derksen left. ‘Chr1zN’ briefly participated in a couple of tier-one online events midway through 2023 as a stand-in for HEROIC, following the drama involving Casper ‘cadiaN’ Møller, Jakob ‘jabbi’ Nygaard, and Martin ‘stavn’ Lund.
The young Dane impressed in the Thunderpick World Championship, achieving a 1.12 rating. In OG, ‘Chr1zN’ joins a struggling international roster currently on a nine-series losing streak and declining in the rankings since early 2023. The team also failed to qualify for the CS2 Major Copenhagen earlier this year.
