Teams attending
Eight teams will cross swords for a chance to reign supreme in Counter-Strike’s first tournament in China. Five teams were invited while the rest made it through the PPL Professional Season 5, an Asian qualifier.
It’s worth noting that some changes occurred to the attending teams list as G2 pulled out of the event, while NIP replaced Team Liquid.

How to watch CS Asia Championships 2023
The CSAC 2023 will be broadcast in Chinese on Chinese platform BiliBili, as well as the PGL channels on Twitch and Youtube for the English broadcast.
The first Group Stage matches will kick off at 5:00 AM CET, while the second matches will follow at 6:30 AM, so be sure to set your alarm to catch all the action.
Format, prize pool distribution
Group Stage:
- The Group Stage features two double-elimination groups, each consisting of four teams.
- All matches are BO3s.
- The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.
- Group Stage winners will secure a direct path to the Semifinals.
- The group-stage runners-up will move forward to the Quarterfinals as the high seed.
- Teams finishing in 3rd place in their respective groups will also advance to the Quarterfinals as the low seeds.
Playoffs:
- The Playoffs feature a Single-Elimination bracket.
- Similar to the Group Stage, all matches in the Playoffs are BO3.
The total prize pool is a whopping $500K USD, with most of it going to the champion. The winnings are spread among the rest of the participants, as seen below:
