BLAST.tv Paris is CSGO’s last Major, and with it ends a long chapter of the franchise’s history. A history full of beautiful and unforgettable moments of teams who achieved everything, underdogs who prevailed against the best and players who broke through and became a part of the game’s records after dedicating so much to the best FPS game to ever exist.
In a short time, they’ll open a new chapter and enter a new journey of grinding and pushing the boundaries in the long-awaited Counter-Strike 2.
Throughout the years, players have cemented themselves as legends of the game by making the most incredible plays, breaking different personal records and, more importantly, lifting the most prestigious trophies. But regardless of the different achievements, only a few will sit on top of the stats leaderboard across all Major events.
The stats used in this article were gathered from HLTV.org; a minimum of 45 maps played was used across all categories.

The All-Time Highest-Rated Player
Countless legends have exceeded expectations with their incredible performances and impact during the most important moments. Still, the best player of all time flew higher than any other during Major events making Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev the highest-rated player in Major history with a whopping 1.47 rating at PGL Stockholm 2021.
The 21-time MVP went above and beyond with his exceptional performance to secure his one and only Major title. It was a worthy achievement for the game’s arguable best player to officially put him into a tier of his own.
Total Kills
Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer Gustafsson, the legendary member of Fnatic and FaZe, is the current king of kills with 2462 across all majors. He is followed by Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz at 2442. However, the race is not over as Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen is only 68 frags away from topping the chart and taking the lead as the best fragger of all time in Major events. Unfortunately for device, he won’t be able to reach the #1 spot after a disappointing result in the RMR for Astralis.
Clutch Minister
We often see different players clutch, but no one has ever done it like the clutch minister himself: Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth. During Astralis’s prime, the Dane showed his incredible clutching capabilities, winning hard situations other players wouldn’t.
Andreas has 60 (1vsX) clutches distancing himself from his teammate device, who has 44 total clutches. The “Clutch Minister” also tops the leaderboard of most assists with 498, cementing himself in the game’s records.
Headshot Machine
The art of popping heads constantly requires an artist with impeccable raw aim, perfect crosshair placement and the right timing to hit the left-click mouse button. The game has certainly gifted us with some insane players that mastered this art, but only one player reigned above all: Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken.
The Canadian superstar has the highest headshot percentage with 62.5%, but the most headshot kills goes to dupreeh with 1129 out of 2393.
Total AWP Kills
AWPers have always dominated the HLTV Top 20 Players list. The weapon is expensive, but its impact can be the difference maker in individual rounds.
Throughout history, legendary names have dominated the scene with the sniper, but in Majors, Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács has collected the most kills with the big green over the course of his career.
With 1075 AWP kills and a rating of 0.45 kills per round, Kovács beats his closest competitors, including s1mple, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, dev1ce and Kenny “kennyS” Schrub, who recently broke the record for most AWP kills in all tournaments with 9028 kills.
The Entry Fragger
An entry kill is the first step to winning a round; it requires a player with good aim and fast reactions to make the most out of this role, which is what dupreeh specializes in. When mentioning the best riflers in the world, only a handful will mention the Danish superstar, but in reality, his skills are extremely polished.
He has a total of 420 entry frags in Major events, with most of his success dating back to the glorious Astralis era. Though he has the most kills, Jame has found better success in opening duels with 65.3%, but we know what happens with the latter player later in rounds.
