Complexity has confirmed that their star rifler, Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski, is leaving the team. This news follows speculation that ‘EliGE’ is moving to FaZe to fill the vacancy created by Robin ‘ropz’ Kool’s departure from the European roster.
EliGE’s stint of one and a half years with Complexity yielded minimal success for the team. The most significant achievements of the North American squad during EliGE’s time included winning ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024, finishing as runners-up at IEM Sydney 2023, and reaching the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 19.
Aside from these notable moments, Johnny ‘JT’ Theodosiou’s team had difficulty achieving deep runs in major events during the latter part of 2023 and a significant portion of 2024, ultimately ending the year with an exit in the Opening Stage of the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
‘EliGE’ maintained strong individual performance despite Complexity’s struggles in 2024, earning an EVP award at ESL Pro League Season 19 and finishing in 19th place on the Top 20 players of 2024 list. Overall, ‘EliGE’ wraps up his tenure with Complexity boasting a 1.20 average rating over 227 maps played.
Complexity has recently let go of Ricky ‘floppy’ Kemery, leaving the team with only three active members. According to a recent report from Dust2.us, the American organization is expected to seek out domestic players Danny ‘cxzi’ Strzelczyk and Nick ‘nicx’ Lee to strengthen their roster.
