This summer, Esports World Cup 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will feature a series of tournaments in 20 different eSport competitive games. This time, the prize pool is breaking all the previous records. The prize pool is going to be $60 million and will be split across all the disciplines. It is $15 million more than the previous record of $45 million at Gamers8 back in 2023. The Esports World Cup series will be going on this July. Prize Pool Distribution
More than $33 million will be shared across the 20 games played at the series of tournaments. The MVP of each competition will get a $50.000 bounty. More than $7 million will be awarded to the qualifiers participants worldwide. The rest, $20 million, will go to The Club Championship.
The Club Championship
It is innovative and focused on multi-game competitions where each Club can field its roster in multiple games. In conclusion, the best club across all the games will be titled the world’s first Esports World Cup Club Champions. The $20 million will be split among the sixteen best clubs based on their performance.
Esports World Cup 2024: Games List
Counter-Strike 2
The Counter-Strike 2 tournament will be held from July 17 to July 21, and the 15 best teams will be fighting for the prize pool of $1 million. Tournament format and a complete list of the participating teams you can find here.
Dota 2
For Dota 2, there will be 20 teams featured at this tournament, and every team will have to go through different types of qualifiers to deserve their spot at Riyadh Masters 2024. The Prize Pool and the full list of the teams have yet to be announced and determined.
League of Legends
The approximate dates for the League of Legends tournament are from July 3 to July 7, but the rest of the information is unknown.
