Heading into the new year there are loads of roster moves happening, not the least of which is what’s going on with Eternal Fire and their academy roster, benching their support rifler of BuÄra “Calyx” Arkın and replacing him with academy player Emre “duggyversus” Oktay on a trial basis.
According to Calyx and the team of Eternal Fire, he is taking leave due to personal reasons, it is currently unsure whether or not he’ll be making a return, but considering his recent performances, with a rating of 1.01 in 2021 according to HLTV, it might be beneficial for a change like this to occur if they want to break into the top rankings of HLTV.
The next challenge that they will face will be at the Pinnacle Winter Series 1, where they will go head to head against the likes of MOUZ NXT, K23, Sprout and Endpoint. This will be a completely new experience for the Turkish youngster and a chance to prove himself as a potential permanent addition to the roster.
Their updated roster will look like this:
‘¢ Ismailcan “XANTARES” DörtkardeÅ
‘¢ Ãzgür “woxic” Eker
‘¢ Ãmer “imoRR” KarataÅ
‘¢ Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç
‘¢ Emre “duggyversus” Oktay
‘¢ Timur “bishop” Åengü (coach)
