    hasteka leaves The MongolZ

Mongolian organization-less CS:GO team The MongolZ has parted ways with Chinguun “hasteka” Bayarmaa. The 25-year-old player linked up with the squad in late March under the IHC Esports banner, replacing Tengis “sk0R” Batjargal.

Despite a strong showing at IEM Cologne 2023, The MongolZ’™s recent performances have left something to be desired as the squad failed to qualify to IEM Sydney 2023 and the CS:GO Asia Championships 2023 after losses to Wings Up Gaming and 5yclone in online qualifiers.

During his tenure with the team, hasteka suffered through poor individual performances and struggled to find his place in the team, something noted by BLIX’™s Gabriele “DauD” Mantovani in his assessment of The MongolZ:

“The 25-year-old veteran was set to be TheMongolz’™s new IGL, freeing up bLitz in the process, but the change was reverted during the team’™s preparation for Cologne. This left hasteka without a true identity in the team, as the Mongolian became the team’™s dedicated space creator on both the T and CT-side. Unfortunately, his mechanics are not up to scratch, and his decision-making has raised equal criticism. hasteka recorded an abysmal 20% opening duel win rate on the T side, with significantly better stats on defense, and the lack of a true opener often left TheMongolz toothless.’

With these issues seemingly too much to work through, The MongolZ are now:

    Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren (In-Game Leader)

    Sodbayar “Techno4K” Munkhbold

    Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch

    Ayush “mzinho” Batbold

    Erdenedalai “maaRaa” Bayanbat (Coach)
