The German esports organization BIG has benched Florian “syrsoN” Rische and promoted Marcel “hyped” Köhn from BIG Academy to its main CS:GO roster.
“In a mutual agreement with Florian “syrsoN” Rische, we have made the decision together that he will take a place on the bench until further notice. As a replacement, Marcel “hyped” Kohn will take his place in the main CS:GO team. With his excellent performance in the BIG OMEN Academy, he has earned the opportunity to demonstrate what he is capable of, especially after his key performances in the IEM Rio Qualifier,” said BIG’s Chief Gaming Officer Roman “Roman R.” Reinhardt.
syrsoN has been playing for the German organization since 2020. The most productive year for the athlete with BIG was 2020, after which there were much fewer victories.
hyped joined the BIG Academy in the last spring. He already has experience playing for the main squad when the team qualified for IEM Brazil 2023.
