Vitality has announced that Audric 'JACKZ' Jug will be standing in for William 'mezii' Merriman at the upcoming BLAST Premier World Final, as revealed by French insider Sebastien 'KRL' Perez and confirmed by the team to HLTV.
The British individual is unable to attend the $1 million event because he anticipates the arrival of his child around the same period. The event is scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 3 in Singapore.
During the IEM Rio competition, Rémy 'XTQZZZ' Quoniam, the coach of Vitality, disclosed in a comment that the decision had been made two months earlier. He emphasized that this would not hinder the team's preparations for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major cycle. The European RMR will start 14 to 18 days after the BLAST Premier World Final, and it will depend on the group that Vitality is placed in.

Vitality has once again turned to 'JACKZ' to fill in for them during a crucial period. The 32-year-old previously stepped in for Peter 'dupreeh' Rasmussen during the group stage ofESL Pro League Season 17 in early 2023, when the Danish player was on parental leave.
'JACKZ' has been a free agent since he was benched from TSM in January and subsequently released three months later. He has been playing with different teams and most recently joined Project G, a team without an organization. Unfortunately, Project G disbanded after just two months in September.
