Aleksey “El1an” Gusev and Artyom “RAiLWAY” Gradovich have joined K23’s CS:GO roster, the organization reported on its social networks.
The two Russians have to replace Rassim “Jyo” Valijev and Artyom “iDISBALANCE” Egorov, who are leaving K23 after a relatively short tenure in the lineup. Jyo and iDISBALANCE joined the team just at the end of November 2022.
Together with the outgoing duo, the team failed in the qualifiers for the Paris Major and some other tournaments.
23-year-old El1an came to K23 from Entropiq’s Russian roster, which was disbanded in November last year. RAiLWAY before joining the Kazakhstani organization was playing for the Serbian organization Aurora Gaming.
All mentioned organizations are affiliated or were affiliated with the Russian Federation. Only Entropiq radically updated their roster by signing Czechs, Poles, a Slovak and a German. The rest of the organizations have changed jurisdictions, but there are many Russian professional players still in their squads.
K23 are now:
- Daniil “X5G7V” Maryshev
- Konstantin “Raijin” Trubarov
- Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov
- Artyom “RAiLWAY” Gradovich
- Aleksey “El1an” Gusev
- Ãset “Solaar” Sembiev (coach)
