Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev (aka somedieyoung) has said goodbye to Natus Vincere. Andrii “npl” Kukharskyi (aka nipl) from Natus Vincere Junior will replace him.
“Hello my dear friends and haters. NAVI and I decided to part ways for 2023. The truth is that I’ve never had a long-term contract with them and I believe that makes me the longest stand-in of them all! The experience that I’ve got from this time together is unbelievable,” sdy noted on Twitlonger.
He has announced he is looking for a new team. But first of all, he plans on taking a few weeks off to spend with his family.
“As always, I’m highly motivated. I can travel to bootcamps and tournaments, there’s no problem with that. Also, I will try to do “talking” videos with you guys for my YouTube channel so I can make things clearer. Finally, I don’t have any buyout at all,” he added.
sdy moved to NAVI in June 2022 as a stand-in player on a free loan from MAD Lions, which he joined at the beginning of 2022 but was benched after a few months.
The appearance of npl in the main NAVI squad was expected. As previously reported by BLIX.GG, the rumors appeared that he will replace sdy have been circulating prior to the announcement.
npl will join the team for his first tournaments as a full-time main roster player at IEM Katowice 2023 and other January events. Andrii debuted with NAVI CS:GO team at BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
The NAVI CS:GO roster is now:
- Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev
- Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi
- Denis “electroNic” Sharipov
- Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy
- Andrii “npl” Kukharskyi
- Andrii “B1ad3” Gorodenskyi (coach)
