    PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Preview, Teams and Format

    This year’s biggest tournament is already on its way, with Opening Stage from March 17 to March 20. The game will feature 24 teams, 8 of which have already qualified for the Elimination Stage and are waiting for eight more teams to join them. 16 teams from the Opening Stage will have to fight for eight Elimination Stage spots and a chance to win a prize pool of $1,250,000 and a place at the BLAST Premier World Final tournament. The Elimination Stage will be held from March 21 to March 24, and the Playoff Stage will be played from March 28 to March 31.

    • Bottom 8 Teams are eliminated

    Group Stage, March 21 to March 24:

    • 16 Team Swiss System Format

    • All other matches are Bo1
    • Top 8 Teams proceed to the Playoff Stage
    • Bottom 8 Teams are eliminated

    Playoff, March 28 to March 31:

    • Single-Elimination bracket
