Falcons have struck a deal with Spirit to acquire 17-year-old talent Maxim ‘kyousuke’ Lukin, as reported by Guillaume ‘neL’ Rathier.
The transfer will only be completed following the Austin Major, as ‘neL’ has reported that Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif will be the player making room for the Spirit Academy talent.
neL Statement
‘kyousuke’ has emerged as a leading talent in the Counter-Strike scene, following the rise of Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets, another player from Spirit Academy. In his first year of professional Counter-Strike, he achieved an average rating of 1.29 and received six “Bold Predictions” for HLTV’s Top 20 Players of 2024, which included Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov and Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut.
Earlier this week, ‘kyousuke’ led Spirit Academy to a triumphant win at BetBoom LanDaLan 2 in Moscow, achieving a tournament-best rating of 1.57. Following this tournament performance, the young Russian squad climbed to the 32nd position in the global VRS rankings.
Falcons have invested heavily in enhancing their roster. Recently, the Saudi organization finalized the acquisition of ‘m0NESY’ from G2, with the Russian AWPer contributing to the team’s consecutive grand final appearances at IEM Melbourne and BLAST Rivals.

If the deal is done, the Falcons’ roster will be as follows:
- Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač
- Damjan ‘kyxsan’ Stoilkovski
- René ‘TeSeS’ Madsen
- Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov
- Maxim ‘kyousuke’ Lukin
- Danny ‘zonic’ Sørensen (coach)
- Abdul ‘degster’ Gasanov (benched)
- Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif (benched)
