Norwegian esports organization Apeks has parted ways with CS:GO player Richard “shox” Papillon.
“After much deliberation, we have mutually agreed for shox to explore his options. He will not be a part of our active roster moving forward. This is due to a difference in vision on how to proceed with our in-game team development. Richard has been nothing short of a stellar professional throughout this process and we are doing everything we can to help him find a home where he can thrive. We are actively looking for a replacement,” said the Apeks statement.
The 30-year-oldFrench veteran had joined Apeks in August, signing a one-year contract. By hiring shox, the organization completed the ambitious rebuild of the СS:GO team. However, even the first results were disastrous. The team failed in qualifying for the RMR three times; ranked 3-4th at Fragadelphia 17 and 19th-21st at CCT Central Europe Series #2.
After that, Apeks’ managementdecided to withdraw its CS:GO roster from all competitions.
