Janusz ‘Snax’ Pogorzelski has said goodbye to GamerLegion after serving as the team’s in-game leader for nine months.
After Isak ‘isak’ Fahlén’s departure to Ninjas in Pyjamas, Sebastian ‘volt’ MaloÈ remains the sole surviving member of the GamerLegion lineup that participated in PGL Major Copenhagen.
Under the guidance of coach Ashley ‘ash’ Battye, the team’s rebuilding efforts have prioritized youth, as they have recently signed three talented teenagers: Henrich ‘sl3nd’ Hevesi, Andreas ‘aNdu’ Maasing, and Timur ‘FL4MUS’ Marev. These young players have been brought in to fill the void left by ‘isak’sdeparture and bring fresh energy to the team.
The plan to have 30-year-old veteran ‘Snax’mentor the team has been disrupted, and GamerLegion now needs a new in-game leader.
The Polish legend, a three-time top-five player of the year, joined GamerLegion in September 2023 after captaining the international Let us cook lineup earlier that year.
The team’s performance improved after replacing Sanzhar ‘â neaLaNâ ‘ Iskhakov with ‘Snax’. However, ‘Snax’ couldn’t prevent GamerLegion from sliding down the rankings after their grand final run at BLAST.tv Paris Major lost relevance. Nonetheless, ‘Snax’ showed potential as a captain for an international team, and is expected to continue in this role in his next, currently unannounced, project.
